Want to Occupy Something? Know Why First!

I can't turn on the news anymore. At least, not until this 'Occupy Wall Street' movement comes to an end, if it ever does. I can't because all I see are mindless drones gathering in masses, all demanding different things, all standing around doing nothing but bitch and moan. And now, now their movement is growing overseas as well, gaining power and support from people who don't even realize what it is that want to fight for. I'd support ALL OF THEM if they could just tell me what it is that they wanted other than "Forgive MY student loans". I mean, seriously? SERIOUSLY?!?! You make the loan, you go to college, you get the education and suddenly, you want all debt forgiven? So your education just became a state funded one? And now what, you want a job too? Don't want to pay taxes anymore? Why not! Lets throw that on the table too, huh? I mean, if you already have one crazy thing on the table, why not throw more on there too. Why not just come clean and say it like you want to? You bitch about Wall St. bailouts, yet protest against the people who received the money instead of the people that gave it out, you don't want to pay for your own education, you bitch about taxes and you bitch about the rich having too much money, and should give some to you. A hundred different groups wanting a thousand different solutions. There is no clear case to be made here, and what's worse, what's really, really awful in all of this? Now you idiotic bastards are starting to get violent and act out. Yeah, like acting out ever got you people anywhere (and don't quote the Revolution, Civil War, WWI, WWII or Martin Luthor King Jr., your cause is NOT worthy of their level).

There’s a difference between fighting for your right to be free, for your right to survive, and your right to a free pass in education. But when you live in the greatest country on planet Earth, and your strongest argument is you don’t want to pay for your college loan, or you want the pathetic fat assed suits down on Wall Street to pay for the bailouts that they received instead of going after the people who gave them that money in the first place, then my friends… and listen up… you have FAILED. You have failed miserably. Give me a reason to support you, give me a reason to fight to the death for your rights, and I will. But until you can give me a clear and reasonable explanation, I’m sorry… I cannot and will not support your movement. And to all of you who think that I agree with the police brutality that’s been going on throughout this movement, STOP!!! Let me get one thing straight. I do not and will not ever support police violence against peaceful assembly. I will not. Arrest, detain, but never brutality. You stand there and you see the police and think; they’re the bad guys, they’re trying to put you down, silence your right to free speech, your right to assemble. But you’re wrong.

The police, they’re not the bad guys here, not all of them. There are a few bad cops out there. Always has been, always will be. But they’re not your enemy. They’re YOU, only in UNIFORM. They are NOT the 0.1%. They’re the 99.9%. The police, the firefighters, the doctors, EMTs, etc… they’re just like you, they work day in and day out to make a living in the very same cities and states. Give them a chance, give them a break. If you purposely want to insight violence, don’t be surprised when they take you down. You’re breaking the law. Laws that brave men, greater than you and I will ever be, fought and died to create and protect. I’m just too frustrated right now to go on, but hey, if you want to debate me, go right ahead, I’m all ears. Just know that I hate Republicans and I hate Democrats. My arguments are NOT based off political or even religious position. It’s based of disappointment and anger. That’s all. So… I’m done now.
