The State of... My Mind.

The state of the world, the state of our country, the state of our state and hell, the state of our lives. No matter what you look at right now, everything around us is pretty fucked up. I know there are good around us and that no matter how bad it is, it gets better... but just how much more bad are we supposed to live through before it starts to get better? And isn't there another saying about it even getting worse before it gets better? Talk about your fucking morality boost, huh? Maybe it's just me, maybe my mind is just in a bad place right now and I need to get my shit straight... but at least for the moment, the whole world looks like complete and utter shit.

And that sucks, because this world can be a pretty beautiful place when all of the people aren't running around making it look so bad... I'm not usually this angry or pessimistic, but lately I'm finding very little to be optimistic about. I turn on the TV, I see an endless war being fought, world economies crumbling hard, commercials of starving kids being filmed by people who are just standing their with a camera to record them instead of pick them up and hold them, feed them and tell them it'll be alright. I see celebrities holding multi-million dollar weddings only to promote themselves as happy individuals so that the masses will forget that they're completely fake, head to toe.
